Group urges IGP, Bayelsa CP to call Ex- KOLGA Chairman to Order over plan protest on Supreme Court Judgment
A renowned
formidable group under the auspices of Bayelsa Frontline Assembly for Peace,
Democracy and Good Governance (BFAPDGG) has called on the Inspector General of
Police, and the Bayelsa State Police
Commissioner to call Mr Ineye Ingbaifegha ( Haglar Osuru-Suru), a onetime Chairman of Kolokuma/Opokuma Local
Government Council to order over his alleged plan protest to cause breach of
peace in the state on the recent Supreme Court Judgment now that peace has
returned into the state after ten days curfew.

The group in a
Press Release issued in Yenagoa, signed by its Executive Chairman, Comrade (Hon)
Livingstone Kypus and the Secretary-General,Mr. Magens Inegba reacting over a purported publication accredited
to him against the Deputy Governor- Elect,
Senator Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo, also warned Mr Ingbaifegha to leave
him alone.

The organization
who blamed the outcome of the Bayelsa State
November 16, 2019 Governorship Election Supreme Court Judgment on corruption, some justices
partisan in politics and desire to amass quick wealth at the detriment of the
wishes of the electorates, enjoined Mr Ineye Ingbaifegha and his sponsors to
channel their protest to the Supreme Court of Nigeria, and not to Senator Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo who won the
said case hands down at the Court of
Appeal presided over by Justice
Stephen Adah whom Nigerians described as the Jurist of exceptional integrity,
transparency, judicial experience and wisdom; who uphold justice, service and
truth in all his dealings.

The Organization
who restated their sadness and condemnation over the Supreme Court judgment ;
describing it as unjust, deliberate prejudice and perverse, wondered why the
leadership of the party has enjoined members to remain in peace and forgo the
matter; startled why Mr Ineye
Ingbaifegha who contributed nothing for the victory of the party in
Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area during last year’s Governorship election will
instigate youths to go on protest to breach the existing peace in the state,
knowing it well that Bayelsans were not happy over the judgment.
The body warned that
Mr Ineye Ingbaifegha should be held
responsible for anything that will happened arising from his plan protest.
It calls for arrest
and prosecution of Mr Ineye Ingbaifegha
over his illegal protest which no doubt will cause unbearable crisis in the
state than the previous one.
It would be
recalled that Mr Ineye Ingbaifegha has
issued a sponsored threat Press Release against Senator Degi- Eremienyo over
the February 13 Supreme Court Judgment in favour of the Peoples Democratic
party(PDP) thus denying APC mandate.
