In his advice shortly after his screening, the Speaker, Rt Hon Abraham Ingobere charged him to work assiduously to increase the internal revenue generation of the state.

He also enjoined him to set up a strong team that would work effectively to achieve the desired revenue target of the state, saying that the state is one among those states in the country that generate lowest internal revenue.

The Speaker further advised him to overhaul all revenue agencies in order to eschew ill practices that would undermine the increase of internally generated revenue.

He expressed optimism that with his wealth of experience he would work hard to leave behind enduring legacies.

Also in his remarks, the Deputy Speaker, Hon Michael P. Ogbere urged him to ensure the collection of all revenue of the state's owned properties outside the state.

In advice, the Majority Leader of the House, Rt Hon Monday -Bubou Edwin Obolo admonished him to ensure that he work hard to generate enough revenue that would be enough to pay worker's monthly salaries and for the execution of projects in the state.
