Amgbare Commends Honourable Minister for Water Resources, Sanitation for providing strategic leadership

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Niger Delta Basin Development Authority (NDBDA), Prince Ebitimi Amgbare has commended the Honourable Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Professor Joseph Terlumun Utsev for providing strategic leadership and fostering synergy among the Basin Authorities.

meeting convened by the Minister at the Ministry’s headquarters recently for managing

He said that the Niger Delta Basin Development Authority remains committed to key national priorities, including sustainable water management, climate resilience, youth empowerment, and agribusiness development across the Niger Delta region.
Earlier in his opening remarks, the Honourable Minister emphasized the importance of collaboration, innovation, and accountability in delivering on the Ministry’s mandates—particularly in areas of water resources management, sanitation, food security, and rural development.
“The primary objective was to align the leadership of the sector with the policy direction and reform agenda of the Federal Government under the Renewed Hope mantra of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.
The Permanent Secretary and Directors also presented technical insights and updates, setting the stage for the upcoming Ministerial Retreat, which is expected to crystallize actionable plans and performance benchmarks for the entire sector.
The Pre-Retreat meeting concluded on a note of unity and renewed commitment, with all participants agreeing to work collectively in transforming the Water Resources and Sanitation sector for the benefit of all Nigerians.
