4 – Augustine . Beg PDP leaders to conduct credible party primary

  A leading aspirant contesting for Southern Ijaw Constituency 4 in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly elections under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Simon E. Augustine has  said that his chances to emerge the flagbearer of the party in the area  are very clear provided credible, free and fair primary is conducted to give all aspirants equal opportunities.

   Mr Augustine who made the assertion in an exclusive interview with Global Overseer Editor in Yenagoa, capital of Bayelsa state boasted that with his candidature as the standard bearer, the party will sweep the poll overwhelmingly in the constituency.
   This, according to him apart from the fact that he was unanimously endorse by the genuine delegates and the people, he has unparalleled massive support than any other aspirant contesting for the seat.

   He expressed confidence that the leadership of the party in the state under Governor Henry Seriake Dickson whom he described as a sincere and trust worthy leader of impeccable character will keep to his words to create a level playing ground for all aspirants by ensuring credible party’s primaries that would give all contestants equal treatments.
