Bayelsa in tough political equation: -As Dark Horse may emerge Governor Dickson’s Successor

                By Our Political Reporter
Bayelsa, the homogenous state of Ijaw nation may face a tough political equation on November 16 governorship election scheduled by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
This was not unconnected with the  uncertainty over who will succeed Governor Henry Seriake Dickson, the incumbent governor on November 16 governorship election.
GOvernor Henry Seriake Dickson              Former President Goodluck Jonathan               Former Governor Timipre Sylva
The some alleged sponsored media organisations  have been propagating information that may fuel crisis between former President  Goodluck Jonathan and the incumbent Governor, Hon Henry Seriake Dickson  over the choice of the   Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship flagbearer in the state.
Sponsored media propaganda argued that Governor Dickson has played crucial role for the victory of the party in the state than former President Jonathan, hence the Governor should be given all the chances to bring the party flag bearer on the November 16 INEC scheduled governorship election in the state.
Though, despite the scathing criticism against former President Jonathan, he and Governor Dickson of recent has been moving together as two brothers, but nobody can tell their individual plans in their mind. But some political observers  of recent described the duo as persons who can make changes at anytime.
Also, there is an argument on which of the zone should produce Governor Dickson’s successor as it is clear that the three Senatorial Districts- Bayelsa Central, Bayelsa East and Bayelsa West have ruled the state.
However Governor Dickson of Bayelsa West as a bold and firm leader was able to succeed ruling the state for second tenure.
The pioneer Governor of the state, Chief DSP Alamieyeseigha, the Amassoma born politician could not succeed his second term ambition as he was impeached.
This paved the way for Governor Jonathan of Bayelsa East to take over the mantle of leadership from him for a short while before his elevation to the position of the Vice President  of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2007 which facilitated former Governor Sylva to replace him.
Former Governor Sylva could not succeed his second term  bid for some political interest which created the chance for Hon Henry Seriake Dickson to emerge the Governor of the state to successful rule the state for about two terms.
In the Peoples Democratic Party, several people have indicated interest to succeed Governor Henry Seriake Dickson on November 16, 2019.
Although, the said governorship aspirants seem very dormant as there is no real grassroots mobilization taking place. Some political observers described them as poster aspirants.
Obviously, in the Peoples Democratic Party, the governorship aspirants are waiting their nomination from one seemingly source thus ridiculing their ambition. Indeed, no serious governorship aspirant who has good manifesto and attach important to public interest above personal gains will wait one man before carrying out out his or her ambition.
The streets of Yenagoa is flooded with posters of aspirants who may not be the Dark Horse to succeed the incumbent governor. Some aspirants according to our investigation are of the opinion that only the person that  the the Governor will chose is the one that will emerge the governorship flagbearer of PDP.
Nevertheless, there is also the fear that without former President Jonathan’s imput only Governor Dickson cannot chose the party’s flagbearer in the state and succeed.
In the All Progressives Congress (APC), the former Minister for Agriculture for state  Henekein Lokpobiri and Preye Aganaba  among others are preparing to contest with the leader of the party in the state, Chief Timipre Sylva who has laid solid foundation in the party at the grassroot of the state to emerge APC governorship flagbearer.
Considering the present governorship aspirants indicating interest to succeed Governor Dickson, Global Overseer investigations can boldly reveal that a Dark Horse may likely emerge Governor Dickson’s successor.
The Dark Horse according to our finding may emanate from any of the political parties to win the November 16 governorship election in the state.
According to our findings this governorship election, money alone cannot make any person to emerge the Governor of the state.
Reliably sources, alleged that the said Dark Horse may emanate from Bayelsa East or Bayelsa Central to succeed Governor Dickson.
Our sources pointed out that that was one of the reasons those aspiring for the number one seat in the state were dormant, adding the fact that most of them have no money to even go round the state to campaign or lobby for support.
Reliable source from the powers that be confided to Global Overseer that in August the Dark Horses will emerge from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which will change the political equation in Bayelsa State.
Our sources described APC and PDP in Bayelsa state are synonymous, adding that there is no better difference between APC and PDP in Bayelsa state because  majority of PDP  members from origin are the same members of APC (APP) from 1999 when the country returned to civil rule.
So, the people this time around are prepared to vote a man that will carry all the people of the state along devoid of ethnic tendencies, corruption, nepotism, totalitarianism, dictatorship, oppression, victimization and oppression of civil servants and retirees among other sectors that would enhance the desire development of the state to improve the living condition of the people; eradicate poverty and make Bayelsa state a haven of peace and prosperity.
Our investigation have shown that some of the people accused current aspirants indicating interest to rule the state as not serious, stating that if they are serious  they can pick any of the political parties other than PDP and APC to contest and allow the electorates to take their decision on November 16.
But for the fact that they want to contest under APC and PDP, our source pray God for them to be among the Dark Horses in APC and PDP to succeed Governor Dickson.
Our source alleged that this time the election will be very peaceful, free and fair as Bayelsans are fully prepared to elect a Governor of their choice without taking one kobo.
Our source also alleged firmly that the people will monitor the activities of INEC in the state particularly the Resident Electoral Commission, the Administrative Secretary and the LGAs Electoral Officers to ensure free and fair election.
