Atamata marriage attracts dignitaries from all walks of life

Dignitaries and top pacesetters last Saturday, April 3, 2021 turned out in their numbers to witness the traditional marriage ceremony between Mr Minadiani Atamata of Imiringi and Mrs Yibatombara Emmanuel Atamata of Ibelebiri both in Ogbia local government area of Bayelsa state.

The beautiful bride looked regal in all her colourful traditional outfits,

complimenting each attire with the perfect accessories that highlight the Ogbia culture.

 

The ceremony which took place at Ibelebiri playground witnessed the dramatic traditional rites as required under the Ogbia tradition, as well as other joyful activities that include, cutting of cake by the couples, dance performance by the couples and family members, friends and different associations as well as the customary spray of cash money on the couples while dancing and presentation of gifts.

 

 Different Guests who spoke at the event, commended the couples for their wise decision to come together and live as one body, and advised them to adhere strictly to the doctrines of marriage in order to achieve eternal benefits.

 

In his vote of thanks, the Groom Mr Minadiani Atamata on behalf of his wife, appreciated the presence of the dignitaries from all walks of life, describing the gesture as a manifestation of love, thus enhancing their successful marriage.

 

He further appreciated everyone who came from far and near to witness the conjugal bliss of their marriage and wished them journey mercies.
