Bayelsa State Government, NASSP commence identification, registration of Poor, Vulnerable persons

The Bayelsa state government in collaboration with National Social Safety-net Project (NASSP) has commenced Community-Based Targeting activities for the identification and registration of Poor and Vulnerable (PVHHs) in the following wards in the state.

The wards are Yenagoa Ward 6, Azikoro Community, Yenagoa Ward 11, Tombia, Gbarantoru and Akaibiri communities as well as Ogbia ward 10, Oloibiri town.

According to the statement by the State Coordinator, Mr Felix Asinbi, SOCU field workers will visit these communities and give guidance for community driven identification, registration and enumeration of poor and vulnerable households in the state.

The State Coordinator therefore, appeals to Paramount Rulers, Community Development Committee (CDC) and Youths bodies to accord the CTB Teams the need support to ensure a successful registration programme in their communities.
