Bayelsa Assembly pass two bills into Law

On Wednesday plenary session of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, two bills that would impact positively on the lives of the people have been read Third Time and passed into Law.
The Bills are, a Bill to repeal the existing Water Board Law of 2006, and provide legal frame work for regulation and distribution of potable water across the state.
The other bill passed is the “International Polytechnic of Tourism and Technology.”
The passage of the two bills followed their approval at the committee of the whole, after corrections and amendment of the nomenclature of the bill, “International Institute of Tourism and Hospitality” Bill (BYSHA/B.22),2022.
The bill, was amended to change its title to bear “International Polytechnic of Tourism and Technology.”
