2023 Election: Group canvasses support for Senator Degi-Eremienyo over his exceptional achievements

 A group under the aegis of Bayelsa Coalition for Dynamic Change and National Orientation (BCDCNO), canvasses support for the Senator representing Bayelsa East Senatorial District at the National Assembly (NASS), Senator Biobarakuma W. Degi-Eremienyo over his exceptional achievements.

 The Group in a Communique issue in Yenagoa on Sunday, at the end of its meeting described Senator Biobarakuma W. Degi-Eremienyo as a God send servant of the people to salvage the senatorial district from the shackle of poverty, deprivation and underdevelopment.

According to the communique signed by its Chairman Comrade M. O. Inegbagha and the Secretary, Mr Goodknows Tariemi, said their canvass for support for Senator Degi-Eremienyo was in recognition of his unique performance and unparalleled achievements, thus impacting positively on the socio- economic and political wellbeing of the constituents as well as  effectively representing the senatorial district through people-oriented motions/ bills besides developmental projects that directly impact absolutely on the citizens, which they said are evenly distributed.

The body stressed that they resolved to go from community to community to canvass on the people to support the candidature of the APC Senatorial flagbearer, apart from the aforesaid,  with the hope that based on his performance and his vibrancy in the Senate, he might be consider for principal officer position that will enable him to contribute meaning fully for the development of the area, the state and the nation at large, as well as by evenly spreading developmental projects across the three LGAs.”

The group expressed strong believe that a return to the senate come 2023 will enable Senator Degi-Eremienyo to pull his weight further in the senate and bring the much-needed federal presence to the senatorial district more than he has done.

They however affirmed that Ogbia remains the LGA to produce the next senator to succeed Senator Degi-Eremienyo under the adjusted rotational arrangement as advanced, and expressed optimism for his victory at the poll.
