Why I'm Seeking Re-election –Hon Sunny-Goli . Urges Bayelsa electorates to vote for him, Tinubu, Degi-Eremienyo

The member representing Brass/Nembe Federal Constituency in the National Assembly and the Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 general election, Hon Israel Sunny-Goli has unfolded the motive he seeks for a second tenure.

Speaking to Journalists in an interview in Yeñagoa, Hon Sunny-Goli said that his second term bid will afford him the opportunity to do better than he did in his first tenure to bring unprecedented development and empowerments to better the lots if his constituents if given the mandate.
The lawmaker who liken the National Assembly like the military, highlighted the benefits and significant of ranking in the house, stressing that it brings more development and benefits to the Constituency you represented.
"The job is just training. Nobody is born a legislator. The benefits of ranking are enormous. And we need to be a member of that benefits. There is this principle of ranking that is very important, you can be a chairman, a member of the leadership of the house and so on. '
'The benefits are so enormous and my people need to benefit from that benefit of becoming a ranking member in the House. That is why I am seeking re-election so that I can bring more development than what I have done the first tenure for them to see what is being delivered," the lawmaker averred.
He stated emphatically that he tried his best as a member of the House of Representatives to fast-track development to his constituency. He said he surrendered himself to his constituents to evaluate his performance and give him his score card.
" I cannot really score myself. For now, I'm finishing strong and to seek my re-election," he said.
On his exceptional performance, especially in the area of provision of social amenities and empowerments of his constituents, Hon Sunny-Goli debunked insinuations thinking that additional funds were given to members, stressing that the normal fund given to members was what he used judiciously to provide the desired needs of the people to uplift their socio-economic wellbeing.
This, he said was to reciprocate the mandate they gave to him that would remain with him forever.
He used the forum to appeal to the people of the state and his constituents irrespective of their political affiliations to vote the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Tinubu, Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo, Senator re-contesting for Bayelsa East Senatorial seat and himself for Brass/Nembe Federal Constituency on February 25 general election.
Meanwhile, a group under the aegis of 'The Victory Family' has called on the people of Brass and Nembe locai government areas of the state, irrespective of their political leanings to unanimously vote for the APC flagbearer for Brass/Nembe Federal Constituency, Hon Israel Sunny-Goli during the February 25 general election.
The call was made when the organization paid him a solidarity visit in Yenagoa.
Speaking on behalf of the body, its Coordinator, Mr Berekuma Pascal Dumofete said Hon Sunny-Goli deserved a second tenure in view of his outstanding track records and outstanding performance in his first tenure, adding that the constituents will benefit more from him when elected.
