Bayelsans Attend in large number to Ogbara's reception over his emergence as Chief Whip

Dignitaries from all walks of life turn out in large number to the grand reception organised in honour of Hon (Chief) Gabriel Michael Ogbara at his home town, Elebele in Ogbia local government area following his emergence as Chief Whip of the 7th Bayelsa State House of Assembly inaugurated on Tuesday.

Fred Azibapu Obua, House of Representatives-elect for Ogbia Federal Constituency, Hon (Chief) Mitema Obordo, Honorable Commissioner for Women, Children Affairs, Empowerment and Social Development, Hon. Faith Opuene, Dr Promise Ekio Commissioner for Science and Technology Bayelsa State, Hon. Federal Opaminola Otokito Commissioner for Trade, Industry and Investment Bayelsa State, Hon. Fred Azibapu Obua and the State Honourable Commissioner for Women, Children Affairs, Empowerment and Social Development, Hon. Faith Opuene, extolled the exceptional leadership qualities of the Chief Whip, Hon Gabriel Michael Ogbara, describing as a man of impeccable character, vision and vibrant to carry out his legislative assignment to improve the socio-economic and political wellbeing of the people.

They expressed joy and confidence saying that the Chief Whip will use his shared vision, consensus building, charisma, credibility and pragmatism in saddle.

In his remark, the Chief Whip and member representing Ogbia Constituency III in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, expressed deep appreciation for the honour done and pledged to sustain his exemplary leadership qualities, adding that he would work assiduously and selflessly with utmost sincerity and humility to ensure effective representation.

He heartily commended the Governor of the state, Senator Douye Diri, the Rt. Honourable Speaker, Abraham Ingobere and the executive of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of the state, for his choice as Chief Whip of the 7th State House of Assembly and promised to work tirelessly to actualized the confidence reposed in him, and mobilizing support to enhance over-whelming victory for governor Douye Diri’s second tenure in office.
