BMNA Set to Honour Yenagoa Hospital, Maternity Limited For Excellence Award

The Bayelsa Media Network Awards (B.M.N.A) has nominated Yenagoa Hospital and Maternity Limited as Best Hospital of the Year.

 Project Manager, Blessing Ozegbe presented the nomination letter to the hospital's management, citing patient testimonials, commitment to quality services and a comfortable ambiance.

Ozegbe praised the hospital's dedication to saving lives and urged continued excellence.

Chief Medical Director, Yenagoa Hospital and Maternity Limited, Dr. Anthony Uba thanked the organizers, saying the nomination would inspire further quality service.

 In a similar vein, Edward LoveGod was given Special Recognition on Waste Management for selflessly maintaining Azikoro community's cleanliness and promoting environmental awareness over the years.

Ozegbe commended LoveGod's patriotism, hard work and dedication, encouraging Bayelsa youths to emulate his example.

LoveGod shared his inspiration from Calabar's cleanliness, saying that he decided to replicate same in Azikoro community and environs and appealed for support to continue his environmental efforts.

He explained that he had to mobilize other youths to desilt drainages, evacuate refuse to designated dump sites, sensitization of residents against dumping refuse in drainages and canals as well as provision of disposable refuse bags.

He thanked the B.M.N.A organizer for the honour as the award would continue to spur him to advocate for a cleaner and friendly environment.

The event will acknowledge outstanding contributions to Bayelsa's development, while the award ceremony will take place on the 26th of December, 2024, at the Nigeria Union of Journalists Secretariat, Azikoro Road, Ekeki, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
