Bayelsa State Government Holds A One-Day Programme On Thursday September 18

The Bayelsa State Government has concluded  arrangement to hold a One-day event with the theme: "Promoting Local Government Workers Welfare: Bayelsa Model, on Thursday at Chief DSP Alamieyeseigha Memorial Banquet Hall, Yenagoa, by 11am in the morning.

The State Honourable Commissioner for Information, Orientation and Strategy, Mrs Ebiuwou Koku-Obiyai disclosed this on the Ministry's Facebook page, on Wednesday.

Highlighting the significant of the programme, she said the  event will provide insight  into the gains of the reforms by the Douye Diri administration in the local government system.

According to her the event would also feature  presentation of awards and cheques to retirees who retired from thelocal government system in August, 2025 by His Excellency the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Sen. Douye Diri.

She enjoined all invited stakeholders  to be seated by 10:30 am prompt.
