APC Chieftain advises Bayelsans against thuggery, bloodshed to win 2027 election * Wants them to live as one indivisible entity irrespective of political affiliation

Ahead of the 2027 general election, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a former Chairman of the Brass Local Government Council, Hon. Dr. Bello E. O. Bina has advised politicians and the people of Bayelsa state to eschew politics of bitterness and all form of acts capable of using thuggery and bloodshed to win 2027 general election in the state.

The astute and foresight politician also advised them to accord the existing peaceful atmosphere in the state a pride of place in all their political ramifications by living and working as one inseparable entity to foster enduring peace, stability and development in the state.

Hon Bina  gave the advice on Friday in an exclusive interview with Global Overseer in Yenagoa, on the current political trend in the state.

He said politicians should see politics as not a do or die affairs, reminding them to always imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship in their political dealings, adding that failure of any person during election should not affect anybody.

Bina admonished the people to learn from the mistakes of the past and live as one, despite their political affiliations.

" You can see today APC people can become PDP member or PDP can become APC member. You can see that the parties are different but Bayelsa State is one.

So, for the forthcoming general election nobody should bring in thuggery or bloodshed to win his people.

Bayelsa state is one but the parties are different. So my advice to Bayelsans is that people should live as one despite party differences," he stated.

He allayed fear over the current defection from one party to another party, saying that the people should not panic because it is the constitutional rights of an individual, freedom of association and expression.

He stressed the need not to bully anybody to belong to where he doesn't want to belong.

Bina also advised members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa state see the interest of the party above personal gains by eschewing internal leadership wrangling and move the party forward in the state.
