Dr Eruani Pays Condolence Visit to Samuel Ogbuku Over Obanema's Death

On Sunday October 5, 2025 the people of Ayakoro Community converged at the helipad to receive Dr. Eruani Azibapu, President of Azikel Group of Companies, who was accompanied by Hon. Golden Jeremiah, the Executive Chairman of Ogbia Local Government Council, and other leaders.

The visit was to condole with his friend and brother, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, MD/CEO Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and Deputy Paramount Ruler of Ayakoro Community, following the passing of His Royal Highness, King Righteous Inegbagha, the community’s Paramount Ruler.

Eruani, while expressing sadness over the incident, extolled the leadership dexterity of the late King, adding that his selfless dedication to the affairs of the community was what birthed the existing peace and progress in the area, calling on the people to take solace in his enduring legacies.

The group president urged Ogbuku to garner courage as the tasks before him are enormous, being the deputy paramount ruler, assuring him of his support and presence during and after the burial.

The two leaders and sons of Ogbia Kingdom used the opportunity to discuss other salient issues that border on the development of the local government, with emphasis on ongoing roads and bridges aimed at connecting the interior communities to the state capital.

Eruani revealed that he has already concluded plans to take power to Emadike community from his refinery and pleaded with Ogbuku to continue with the cabling of the communities along the coastline, as power will not get to Emadike without passing through them.

Chief Samuel Ogbuku expressed delight over the plans of the group president and the visit, and expressed gratitude for the honor done to him, saying that he had been energized by the August visit, while wishing Eruani and his entourage journey mercies back to their respective destinations.
