NCDMB Reaffirms Commitment to building Indigenous Capacity to Reduce Reliance on Expatriate expertise

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) on Tuesday held the close-out ceremony for the NCDMB/TotalEnergies/PIDWAL Human Capacity Development (HCD) Training under the Provision of Drillship for the Egina Project, at Heliconia Hotel in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The Executive Secretary of the Board, Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe (FNSE, FIPS), who was represented by the Manager, Human Capacity Development of the Board, Mrs Tarilate Teide-Bribena commended the trainees for their discipline and successful completion of the programme without incidents.

She reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to building indigenous capacity and reducing reliance on expatriate expertise in the oil and gas industry.

The representatives of TotalEnergies and PIDWAL presented an overview of the project, while training providers; Stoilic, Joemarine, PANA Academy, and SLC Resources; gave reports on training outcomes and lessons learned.
