Bayelsa State House of Assembly Heartily Welcomes President Tinubu

The Bayelsa State House of Assembly heartily welcomes President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the auspicious occasion of his official visit to the state on Friday to inaugurate legacy projects embarked upon by Governor Douye Diri's administration.
The Speaker, Rt. Hon (High Chief) Abraham Ingobere affirmed this, in a goodwill message he signed on behalf of himself, members, management and staff of the state Assembly.
The speaker said, they were delighted, and proud to be associated with President Tinubu on the epoch -making event of his commissioning, 60 Megawatt Independent Gas Turbine Project at Elebele, 630 - Metre - long Angiama - Oporoma Bridge, the newly constructed dual carriage road connecting the New Yenagoa City from the NLNG road at Gbarantoru axis of the state, and the Sagbama - Ekeremor road.
"Mr President, your visit to Bayelsa state, indeed, is very momentous and memorable; as we consider this visit, despite your crowded schedule to grace us with your presence of commissioning these landmark projects as a further testament of the love you have for the people and the state.
Certainly, these projects stand a monument achievement that will open up the state to greater economic opportunities, boost investments, enhance connectivity, job creation as well as improve the quality of life of our people.
We wish to express profound gratitude to Mr. President for the visit, and also to warmly wish you successful commissioning," he stated.
The Speaker also called on traditional rulers, community leaders, chiefs, youths and women, as well as the entire people of the state to come out in their numbers to give Mr President and his entourage arousing welcome.
