Thieves Raid Bàyelsa Publisher's Home, Cart Away Valuables Worth Millions of Naira

The residence of the publisher of The Light newspaper in Bàyelsa State, Mr Ebi Ozegbe has been raided by thieves and cart away valuables worth Millions of Naira.

The incident which occurred on Tuesday at Amarata-Epie in the state capital, Yenagoa, has caused devastating  psychological shock and severe emotional distress on the publisher.

Speaking with 

Global Overseer, Mr Ozegbe said the incident  occurred when he was not at home.

According to him when he returned home  by 9.30pm in the evening and opened his door, he was shocked and devastating when he discovered that the house is empty and his documents were scattered on the floor, and as he looked up the ceiling was broken, and that is where the thieves pass into the house and cart away his properties.

He lamented that valuables he acquired through years of hard work have been carted away.

Some of the valuables he mentioned include laptops, big plasma television and other electronics, including physical cash paid for adverts publication on his newspaper.

He said the situation has led him to be on drugs,  expressing gratitude to God for the friends around him giving him the comfort.

On what to do salvage his current predicament,  Mr Ozegbe said that the present situation is worrisome and he is on drugs.

He maintained that "The joy of seeing super friends like your humble self, my Chairman here, that has been there all this while around you keep you alive, stressing that by now only  God would know what will happen to you. And I have been on drugs since then. 

I just pray that the Bàyelsa state government can assist somebody in this circumstances.

I pray for friends and well wishers to come to my aid," he stated.
