Okordia, Zarama Youths Endorse APC Flagbearer For Yenagoa Constituency 3

The Youths of Okordia and Zarama, on Friday, overwhelmingly endorsed the Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Yenagoa Constituency 3, Barr. Zuwa Konugah for the next year's Bàyelsa State House of Assembly election.

The APC flagbearer was warmly received by a m mammoth crowd led by the IYC Clan Chairman of Okordia, Comrade Daniel Prominent Toweriemi.
Comrade Daniel who spoke on behalf of the youths, leaders of Okordia and Zarama described Barr. Zuwa Konugah as a tested and trusted leader who always accord public interest and the welfare of the people above his personal gain.
He added that over the years, Barr. Konugah has proven himself not just with words, but with capacity and visible actions.
He maintained that Barr. Konugah is not just a lover of youths , but specifically a passionate advocate for the youths of Okordia, Zarama, and Biseni.
The IYC clan chairman lauded Zuwa for prioritizing the youths by taking time to visit and identify with them.
He stated that ''this gesture showed that the APC candidate values the youths and considers them worthy partners in the development of the constituency'.
The Chairman expressed confidence that when elected he will carry the youths along in his administration to improve their socio-economic and political wellbeing.
"Barr. Zuwa Konugah represents the new dawn the youths have been waiting for," he stated.
Comrade Toweriemi affirmed the commitment of the youths to mobilize massively, and ensure that they obtain their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) and come out to vote for Barr. Zuwa Konugah and his party on the election day.
He also assured to be vigilant and monitor the electoral process to ensure that their votes count for the APC.
In his response, Barr. Zuwa Konugah expressed appreciation for the warm reception, orderliness, and sportsmanship displayed by the youths.
He assured them of his commitment to ensure rare representation that would improve the living conditions of the youths, women, Men, Communities leaders and the vulnerable.
He stated his commitment to embark on youth and women empowerment and programmes, and protect interests of all when elected as the lawmaker representing Yenagoa Constituency three in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.
