YENAGOA — As political activities gather impetus ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Bayelsa West Senatorial candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Apostle Dr. Christopher Perelado Ogola, has unveiled an education-focused approach aimed at preparing young people and other constituents for emerging opportunities.

Ogola, while outlining his FEED Agenda, in a chat with  Global Overseer Editor-in-Chief, in  Yenagoa on Sunday,  said the conversation about the future of Bayelsa West must go beyond political slogans and focus on practical measures capable of improving the lives and prospects of the people.

He identified mentorship, career guidance, relevant skills development and practical pathways as critical tools for equipping people to respond effectively to changing economic and social opportunities.

According to him, his vision under the Educational Advancement component of the FEED Agenda is to bridge the gap between formal education and the practical skills required to make informed career and life choices.

He stressed that education should not merely be about acquiring certificates, but should also provide people with the knowledge, skills and guidance needed to navigate an increasingly competitive and changing world.

Ogola said his approach to representation would be anchored on clear communication, responsible leadership, accountability and commitment to the public interest.

He added that effective representation requires leaders to communicate their plans clearly, act responsibly and, most importantly, follow through on their promises to the people.

The ADC candidate called on the people of Bayelsa West to support a political vision centred on development, opportunity and responsible representation.

He urged constituents to join hands in building a future where education and practical skills would serve as pathways to greater opportunities for young people and the wider population.

He urged the electorates in the area  to Unanimously cast their votes for him to enable him actualise his development agenda for the area.
