National working committee of APC will uphold my election – Fafi
The elected
State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa state, Mr.
Joseph Fafi had said that the National Working Committee of the Party will
uphold his election as the authentic constitutionally elected State Chairman of
the party in the just concluded state congress held in Yenagoa.
Speaking
in a telephone interview with Global Overseer Correspondent in Yenagoa today, Mr.
Fafi said his election was conducted in line with the party’s and INEC guide
lines where delegates from the eight local government areas of the party in the
state participated actively.
According
to him, he is optimistic that the National Working Committee of the party made
up men of vision and proven integrity would uphold his election as the duly
elected state chairman of the party to move APC forward in the state.
It would be recalled that Mr. Joseph Fafi was
the Acting Caretaker Chairman of the party in the state who used his wealth of
experience attained over the years as a trail bilizer to mobilize mass support for
the party in the state.
The APC party would have been a dead party in
Bayelsa state by now if not of the selfless efforts of Josephh Fafi as a man of
exemplary character, our sources said.
