Governor Diri Submits 24 Commissioner Nominees to Bayelsa Assembly for Screening

   Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State has submitted 24 Commissioner Nominees to the State House of Assembly for Screening.

    This was disclosed on Thursday Plenary Session of the House in a letter dated August 12, 2020 and addressed to the Rt. Honourable Speaker, Abraham Ingobere and read by the Clerk of the House.

   Those nominated from Brass Local Government Area are Mrs Preye Brodrick, Mr Esau Andrew and Dr Ibiere Jones.

   Ekeremor Local Government Area has Chief Thompson Amule, Miss Grace Ekiotene and Mr Stanley Braboke while its Kolokuma/Opokuma counterpart has Surv Moses Teibowei and Mr

 Iselema Gbaranbiri as nominees.

   Also, those nominated in Nembe Local Government Area has Chief David Alagoa, Mr Dambo Birigha (SAN) and Dr Iti Orugbani as nominees while Ogbia LGA has Dr Promise Ekio, Mr Otokito O Federal and Miss Faith Orubo Opuene.

   In Sagbama Local Government Area, those nominated are Mr Obosi B Churson, Mr Seikumo Ekisah and Mr Maxwell Ebibai while Southern Ijaw Local Government Area has Eng Akpoebidei Alamieyeseigha, Mr. Rex Flint George, Hon Baraladei Daniel Igali and Mr Ebitein Tonyon as nominees.

   Also, Yenagoa Local Government Area has Dr. Igwele Pabara Newton, Mr. Ayebaina Duba and Hon Gentle Emelah.

   Consequent upon their nomination, the House enjoined the Commissioner Nominees to submit all required documents as from today Thursday to Monday 17^th August to the Clerk of the House while their screening was scheduled to commence on Tuesday the 18^th of August.
