Governor Diri submits more Commissioner Nominees to Bayelsa Assembly for confirmation

The Governor of Bayelsa state, Senator Douye Diri has submitted a list
of more Commissioner Nominees to the State House of Assembly for confirmation.

This was contained in a letter dated August 31, 2020 and addressed to
the RT Honourable Speaker, Abraham Ingobere.
The Clerk of the House, Mr Kozi Edward Owudogu who read the letter on Wednesday
plenary session of the House, named the Commissioner Nominees as Keme Wariebi
and Erasmus Patrick.
In the same vein, the Governor in another separate letter dated 26th
0f August, 2020 and addressed to the Rt Honourable Speaker, Abraham Ingobere
also forwarded a list of nominees for the Local Government Service Commission
to the State House of Assembly for confirmation.
The Nominees has Lambert Ototo as Chairman while Odudu Awipi and Cleopas Carter as members.
The Nominees would be screen and confirm next week Tuesday, September
8 according to the resolution passed at the floor of the House.
