Bayelsa Apex Newspaper Publishers Body holds triennial conference Tuesday

   Sequel to the expiration of the tenure of its present Executives, the Bayelsa Federated Newspaper Publishers Association (BAFENPA), the apex umbrella body of newspaper publishers in Bayelsa state would hold its triennial conference on Tuesday afternoon.

   This was contained in a press statement jointly signed by the Executive Chairman, Comrade Ayebaitari J Easterday and the Publicity Secretary, Comrade Inegbagha Majesty in Yenagoa, on Monday.

   According the statement, dignitaries from different walks of life including top government functionaries, media and business executives, traditional rulers, security agencies representatives as well as civil society organizations are expected to grace the opening ceremony.

  The event, he said would feature papers presentation, goodwill messages and official opening of the conference.

   He added that the plenary session which is meant for Newspapers Publishers only will kick-off by 4.00pm prompt.

  The statement enjoined all invited guests to be sited by 1.30pm in the afternoon at the Association’s Temporary Secretariat, DANJEF HOUSE, Off Captain Ayeni Street, Yenizue-Epie, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
