Vice President Osinbajo to visit Bayelsa on Thursday over his Presidential ambition

The Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, a presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), will be in Yenagoa on Thursday to meet with members of the party in the state as part of preparations for the forthcoming party primaries scheduled for the end of May.

An official statement issued at the party’s secretariat, Yenagoa, signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Doifie Buokoribo says, on arrival at the Bayelsa International Airport, Yenagoa, the Vice President will drive straight to the Secretariat of the Traditional Rulers Council to parley with members of the council.

According to the statement, the Vice President from there, will proceed to the State Secretariat of the APC along Mbiama-Yenagoa Road for a meeting with the State Executive Committee.

The statement added that the Vice President Osinbajo will round off his visit to the state with a meeting with all National Delegates of the APC, Bayelsa State Chapter, at Golden Tulip Hotel, Government House, Yenagoa.

Chairman of the party in the state, Dr. Dennis Otiotio, advised all National Delegates to be seated at the hotel by 11. 00 am prompt.
