My victory is certain if I emerge APC Flagbearer – Egbenpere

The All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant contesting for Kolokuma/Opokuma Constituency Two in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Comrade Ebipreye Egbenpere, says that his victory during the 2023 general election is sure if he emerges the flagbearer of the party of the area.

 Comrade Egbenpere who stated this while exchanging views with Global Overseer Correspondent in Yenagoa, said that because he has all the qualities to ensure effective representation to bring the dividends of democracy to his constituents.

“I see myself as somebody that can turn things for good and impact positively on the lives of the people. I am conversant with the development challenges confronting the people of the area. I am always known as the man of the people and for the people. So, what I am saying, if it comes to the party primaries and I have the ticket as the party’s flag bearer I know that the general election I will win based on the support I have on ground”.

Egbenpere unfolded that the motive behind his entry into the race was due to the negligence of the youths, lack of basic infrastructures as well as the need to better the lots of the constituents.

“Actually, in my constituency there are some lacuna and loopholes which I had discovered that several members that have represented that constituency have failed to fill that lacuna, and those loopholes. So I feel if I come I can cover these loopholes,” he said.

He assured to give priority attention to ensure the completion of the abandoned Polaku/Sabagrea Bridge which would enhance the economic development of the people as well as transportation.

Egbenpere also promised to open constituency development Bank Account to be managed by a committee that he will set up to use the fund to embark on projects that will have direct bearing on the lives of the people.

He used the forum to advise the APC delegates to be transparent by ensuring that they elect only an aspirant that has the ability to ensure effective representation devoid of greed, sentiment and selfish tendencies.
