He expressed gratitude to members for the large turnout, adding that the populace received the flyers with happiness stating their willingness to vote for Senator Douye Diri for a second tenure.

On the organization's preparation to participate actively in the anniversary, Prince Bodi-Arerebo stated that all what they are doing is for Bayelsans to celebrate the good gift (Douye Diri) God has given to the people of the state.

He pointed out that before and after the creation of the state the people have been praying for God to send us Moses that would take us to the promised land, saying that God has answered our prayers.

This, he said was because the governor had worked beyond so many people’s expectations to ensure development at the nooks and crannies of the state.

Prince Bodi-Arerebo pleaded with every Bayelsan and Ijaw ethnic nationality to give overwhelming support for governor Diri to continue in office based on his outstanding performance.

He also appealed to the people of the state to vote for the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the forthcoming general election, adding that the electorates should also vote for Senator Diri for a second tenure during the state governorship election.

He said categorically that the governor’s exceptionally performed deserved a second tenure.
