Gbefa predicts President Tinubu's overwhelming victory in 2027 *Says NDC has no room to win election

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the immediate past chairman of Southern Ijaw local government area of the party in Bayelsa state, Mr Ebikazi Gbefa has predicted overwhelming victory for President Bola Tinubu in 2027 presidential election.

Mr Gbefa who made the prediction in a chat with Global Overseer in Yenagoa, on Wednesday attributed his victory to the massive defection of governors, serving senators and House of Representatives members, Speakers and members of state Houses of Assembly, local government chairmen and councilors, top party chieftains and their followers among others.

He also attributed his victory to the   unprecedented consolidation of unified APC party structure in the states, adding to weak and lack of cohesive opposition, describing the party as the biggest in the country.

He also expressed confidence that APC  will win all the next year's elections in Bayelsa state.

This, he said, was because APC is the only party that is deeply rooted in the state.

Gbefa also declared that APC will win the four House of Assembly seats in his local government area.

On the emergence of Nigeria Democratic  Congress (NDC) founded by the former governor of Bayelsa state, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, Mr Gbefa said emphatically that the party has no room to win election anywhere, particularly in the state.

He backed up his statement, stating that the party lacks a foothold in the local government areas of the state, pointing out that the APC is the only rooted party in Bayelsa state.

On the APC's primaries, Gbefa advised aspirants to eschew acts capable of causing violence or unrest aimed at disrupting the smooth conduct of the primaries.

He said politics is not a do or die affair, urging  losers to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship.
