2027: Ogola Urges Bàyelsa West Stakeholders to Elect Responsible Senator

YENAGOA — The African Democratic Congress (ADC) senatorial standard-bearer for Bayelsa West, Apostle Dr. Christopher Perelado Ogola, has urged stakeholders and residents of the senatorial district to elect a responsible and committed representative to the Senate in the 2027 general elections.

Dr. Ogola made the call in Yenagoa while exchanging views with journalists on what he described as his divine call and commitment to represent the people of Bayelsa 0p0West in the National Assembly.

He reaffirmed his determination to provide what he described as rare and purposeful representation that would promote the socio-economic, political, cultural and technological development of the people, while also helping to reduce the prevailing level of poverty in the area.

According to him, good leadership and effective representation depend largely on the preparedness of a representative to place public interest above personal ambition and gain.

Ogola stressed that the people of Bayelsa West deserve a representative who understands their challenges and is genuinely committed to addressing them through effective legislation, advocacy and people-oriented programmes.

He also reminded the people of the consequences of failed electioneering promises, which, he said, had adversely affected development and the overall wellbeing of the people in the area.

The ADC senatorial candidate said he was fully aware of the numerous challenges confronting the people of Bayelsa West and assured them that, if elected, he would work diligently to address their concerns and advance the development of the senatorial district.

Ogola therefore called on the people and stakeholders of Bayelsa West to make informed decisions in 2027 by electing a responsible, committed and people-oriented representative who would place the welfare and development of the district above personal interests.
