Bàyelsa At 30: Gov. Douye Diri and His Deputy Are Equal to the Task - BADAG

As Bàyelsa State marks the historic milestone of its 30th anniversary, the Bàyelsa Development Action Group (BADAG) commends the Executive Governor of the state, Senator Douye Diri, and his Deputy,  Dr. Peter Akpe for their commitment, dedication and steadfast leadership in the administration and development of our dear state.

The President of the Group, Chief Ernest Jacob Eyineni and  the Director-General, Comrade Majesty Inegbagha made the commendation in a press statement issued in Yenagoa on Friday.

The group maintained that Over the years, the present administration has demonstrated the capacity, political will and sense of responsibility required to steer the affairs of Bàyelsa State and advance the collective aspirations of its people.

As Bàyelsa celebrates three decades of growth and progress, BADAG encourages Governor Diri and his Deputy to remain focused and committed to purposeful leadership, peace, unity, inclusive governance and sustainable development for the benefit of all Bayelsans.

"We urge the people of Bàyelsa State to continue to support the present administration as it works towards building a stronger, more united and prosperous state.

Governor Douye Diri and his Deputy have demonstrated that they are equal to the task.

"More grease to your elbows as you continue the journey of building a greater Bàyelsa State," the group asserted.
