Agadaga also felicitated the Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri; his Deputy, Pastor Peter Pereotubo Akpe, Ph.D.; and the people of the state as Bayelsa marks 30 years of its creation.
In a goodwill message to commemorate the twin anniversaries, Agadaga, on behalf of the people of Bayelsa East Senatorial District, described the milestones as an opportunity to reflect on the journey of Nigeria and Bayelsa State, celebrate their achievements and renew commitment to a more peaceful and prosperous future.
He noted that in the past three decades, Bayelsa had passed through various challenges while recording significant milestones and transformations.
According to him, the 30th anniversary of the state provides an opportunity for citizens to appreciate how far Bayelsa has come and recommit themselves to the task of building a stronger and more prosperous state.
Agadaga commended Governor Diri for what he described as his commitment to bridge-building, noting that the administration was not only constructing roads and connecting communities but was also strengthening the bonds of peace, unity and togetherness among the people.
